WINSTON-SALEM, NC (April 6, 2026) – Registration is now open for The Early Childhood Blueprint Summit on April 23rd at the Anderson Conference Center on the campus of Winston-Salem State University. Organized by early childhood leaders and advocates from Forsyth County, this impactful event will bring together statewide leaders in early childhood, government and business to connect, share perspectives, and help align policy and practice to better support children and families.
Registration is required and event details are available at earlychildhoodblueprint.org. Tickets are $25 including lunch. Child care providers and students attend for free.
Nationally recognized author Erin Ramsey will serve as the keynote speaker. Ramsey has worked in the early childhood field for over 30 years as a family child care provider, teacher, executive, trainer and community organizer at the local, state and national level. She is the author of Be Amazing and Inspired Work. State and local early childhood advocates will lead breakout sessions focused on the areas of High-Quality Pre-K, Early Intervention, and Family, Friend & Neighbor Care. Summit organizers expect more than 200 attendees.
Event hosts include Child Care Resource Center, The Pre-K Priority, Family, Friend & Neighbor Child Care Alliance, and the Birth-Kindergarten Education program at Winston-Salem State University.
